Self Care Sunday is literally the best day of the week!

Self Care Sunday can encompass really any form of self care that you want, but this post is going to focus on cruelty-free skin care products to use.

I started showing some extra love to my skin every Sunday back in college with one of my roommates, and I have kept the tradition alive to this day.

Sunday is a great day of the week to give yourself some TLC because it’ll help you recover from the weekend and prepare for the rest of the week. I know I love to relax and unwind before the busy week ahead.

I will say up-front that I only use and recommend cruelty-free products as a personal choice. Over the last few years, I have developed a long list of the best cruelty-free products that have become some of my favorite go-to’s for Self Care Sunday.

And now I want to share them with you!

This post is going to tell you about 11 cruelty-free skin care products you should use this Self Care Sunday.

1. Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes

Before you get to all the fun masks and moisturizers, taking off your makeup is an essential part of any skincare regime. If you only do one thing for your skin every day, it should be removing any makeup from you skin to allow it to breathe.

Leaving makeup on your face when you go to bed can also cause dirt and oil to be trapped in your skin and lead to acne.

My favorite makeup removing wipes are Josie Maran’s Bear Naked Wipes.

They’re thin, but just one wipe will do an amazing job taking off all of my makeup, including mascara.

I love these wipes because they don’t leave a gross oily residue on your skin like I’ve found some makeup removing wipes do.

The cherry on top? Josie Maran donates a portion of all sales to the NRDC Polar Bear SOS initiative, so you can feel good about buying them!

2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oatmeal Instant Mask

A face mask is a staple to any Self Care Sunday. It’s important to choose a face mask that addresses whatever skin care need you have and your skin type.

My skin has a tendency to be red and dry, and so this oatmeal mask from First Aid Beauty is a great way to nourish my face.

It leaves the skin feeling moisturized and soft. Oatmeal is a really calming ingredient, so it’s great for anyone who gets that rosy tone like me.

3. First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Ginger and Tumeric Vitamin C Jelly Mask

Since I love to keep a variety of face masks on hand and use a different one each week, another favorite that I definitely recommend is the Vitamin C Jelly Mask from First Aid Beauty.

This mask leaves skin feeling bright and fresh. I love this one because it feels cool and refreshing going on the skin and washes off really smoothly.

This face mask is for you if you think your skin has been looking a little dull lately or you want to feel nourished and refreshed.

4. Tarte Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost

Moisturizing is important to hydrate your skin and prevent it from getting dry.

Tarte’s Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost is one of my favorite moisturizers.

I love to put this on after a face mask because it’s light but packs a big hydration punch. It’s a gel moisturizer so as a bonus it’s really soothing and cooling.

5. Biossance Squalane Peptide Eye Gel

Even at a young age, protecting the skin under and around your eyes is so important! Finding the right eye cream can help reduce dark under eyes, puffiness, and prevent wrinkles.

This eye gel from Biossance is great because the peptide ingredients help reduce puffiness and dark circles, but you still get tons of hydration from squalane and hyaluronic acid.

I like to buy the large size, but it also comes in a great trial size if you want to try out the eye gel without committing to a larger one (or it’s great for travelling, too.)

6. St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash

I don’t know about you, but my Self Care Sunday also usually includes a nice, warm shower.

That means you need an awesome body wash that will not only leave you feeling clean and refreshed, but will also nourish your skin.

I love the Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Wash from St. Ives because it is soothing, hydrating, and smells delicious!

7. Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner

Self Care Sunday would not be complete without Lush (you’ll notice I have three Lush products on here and they are ALL irresistable).

Don’t you hate getting out of the shower, putting lotion on your legs, and then trying to put pants on with greasy skin?

This body conditioner is great because it leaves you feeling smooth and moisturized, but it doesn’t leave that sticky feeling lotion leaves you with. You use it in the shower almost like a body wash by rinsing it off after rubbing it on your skin, so no residue!

8. Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Mask

Self Care Sunday isn’t all about your skin…you can’t forget your hair either!

Apply this hair mask before you shampoo and condition, and you will have the softest hair.

It works for all hair types and also does wonders for de-frizzing which I can say I am very grateful for especially during the Summer in the South.

9. Oribe Serene Scalp Soothing Leave-On Treatment

I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes my scalp gets so dry. So it’s important to treat your scalp right.

This leave-in treatment from Oribe is really soothing for a dry or flaky scalp.

You apply it directly to your scalp after you shower while you comb out your hair, and I can say from experience that you’ll feel relief from that itchy scalp immediately.

10. Lush Lip Scrub

Lip scrubs are great for removing dead skin or flaky skin from your lips. Exfoliation is important to prepare your lips for moisture in lip balm and allow your lips to better absorb lip balm that you apply afterwards.

Lush has lip scrubs in a variety of different flavors, and I haven’t tried a bad one yet.

You rub it on your lips and then lick it off, so you get a tasty treat while you care for your lips.

It’s gentler than some of the other lip scrubs I’ve tried so it’s non-irritating and still does a great job at removing any dry or flaky skin.

11. Lush Volcano Foot Mask

Last but not least, you gotta care for your feet right?

I love myself a pedicure, but can’t get one every week. I found this great foot mask from Lush so that I can pamper my feet without the effort or expense of going to get a pedicure. It leaves feet feeling soft and smooth!
